Born and raised in San Francisco, ERIK LANNON began playing drums at age 10, inspired by drummers like Keith Moon, Peter Criss and Derek Longmuire. Erik played in a few local SF garage bands before graduating high school in 1984 and spending the following year in New York City. Upon returning from the Big Apple, Erik was approached to take over the drum throne for MORDRED, a seat that he occupied through the end of 1987. Erik has played with a plethora of bands in all styles including local glam heroes TOUCH ME HOOKER, the heavy rockin’ PROUDFLESH, the classic rock/punk of AMERICAN HEARTBREAK and the bubble-gum pop of the BAY CITY ROLLERS.
