Bassist ARTHUR LIBOON was born in San Francisco and began playing music at age 6. He studied violin for a few years, but soon switched to piano, which he played until the age of 13. During this formative period, Arthur started playing bass by ear and developing a style of playing that is as unique as it is genre-defying. Citing wide-ranging influences that include Steve Harris, Geddy Lee, Jaco Pastorius, Louis Johnson and Lemmy Kilmister, Arthur incorporates many styles into his playing, making his sound instantly recognizable. As a founding member of the original MORDRED line-up, Arthur has remained the sole bass player for the band’s four decades of existence and is enthused to be revisiting the early thrash metal material.
